Unfortunately my backup & data hard drive (dumb!) crashed, so I
have lost the digital version of my Family Tree Maker file. I am
reconstructing it now...but 914 names will take a while. If you must
ask about someone, I can look it up in my printed version (direct
descendants) and two other reference books, but I won't be able to
search the many "stragglers" in the Loucks line that I have come across
over the years (and put in my FTM file)...sorry. I will post here when
I have reconstructed by FTM file. (8/10/2001) Objective: I am researching my ancestors back through Johann Dietrich LOUCKS/LAUX. He and his wife, Maria Catharina STARRING came to Stone Arabia, NY, via Rotterdam, from Germany in 1710. I am particularly interested in: 1. German LAUX (Palatine) ancestors (Gravenweisbach, GE); 2. William P. (1821 - 1898) and William M. LOUCKS (1866 - 1935) from Stone Arabia / Dolgeville, NY area 3. DULAUX from Spain/France (1100 - 1600) 4.
